Dennis Morley and Karen Cusolito took on their first rally planning challenge by taking the race to Big Bear, California in 2002. Helped by Marjory Graue, Jay Hughey and Jim Bowen, the planners resurrected Alfred Hitchcock's films as the theme, using scene scripts from his various films as a template for the cluesheets. The rally made its way from the far reaches of  Hollywood ( the Chateau Marmont, Greystoke Mansion) through Silver Lake and Downtown L.A.,  and onward through Pasadena and Montclair utlimately ending up at several comfortable homes overlooking Big Near Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains. Spontaneous romantic engagements, sinking pontoon boats full of revelers, and billiard tournaments were the norm.
