2001: A Space Odyssey was of course destined to be the theme of 2001, and Chip and Laura and Heidi and Charles outdid themselves with a rally through the Bay Area that ended in a beautiful set of homes in Guerneville, California, in wine country, replete with pools, hot tubs and volleyball courts. Teams travelled through a gauntlet of vintage shops, putt putt golf courses, clifftop viewpoints and ice cream parlors.
